Ecommerce is trending

The U.S. is witnessing large growth in ecommerce. From May 2019 to May 2020, small- and medium-sized businesses in the U.S. sold more than 3.4 billion products in Amazon stores, up from 2.7 billion year-over-year.  Customers are buying more products online, but they also want fast shipping. In a recent survey, 73% of customers said that shipping has a large impact on their purchase decision.

Business owners are now tasked with not only scaling to meet the increased demand, but also navigating fulfillment of those orders in a timely manner. Balancing these goals can lead to challenges like missed orders, increased customer contacts, and less time devoted to product development. Using a reliable fulfillment provider reduces business owners’ workloads, saving them time and money.

What is MCF?

MCF is a third-party logistics (3PL) solution that enables businesses to access a world-class fulfillment network that will pick, pack, and ship orders placed on sales channels outside Amazon. If you’re a seller on Amazon, you can use your existing FBA inventory to fill orders on other ecommerce channels. If you’re not an Amazon seller, you can use Amazon warehouses to store your inventory and fill orders on your ecommerce channels.

The benefits of MCF

  • Prime-like ship speeds - Amazon sets the standard for ship speeds. Offer your customers fulfillment at the speed of Amazon. Choose between three click-to-delivery speeds: Standard (5 business days), Expedited (3 business days), and Priority (2 business days). You’ll receive a tracking number within 2 business days (for Standard) and 1 business day (for Expedited or Priority) – so that you can track the packages all the way to your customers’ doorsteps. Customers expect fast shipping, especially ones used to Prime. MCF’s reliable quick shipping options will attract buyers and bring value to your business.
  • Connect to your channels - Integrate MCF with your ecommerce channels to automate your fulfillment and streamline your operations. Pick from a variety of prebuilt application integrations, like Shopify, BigCommerce, and Shipstation. If you want additional capabilities, you can build your own integration using our APIs. • Reliable shipping and delivery - The MCF network is designed for on-time shipping and delivery. All orders have up front delivery promises that are displayed before an order is placed, improving customer conversion. Orders are shipped within one to two business days.
  • Simple, predictable costs - MCF pricing is simple with one fee to pick, pack and ship, allowing you to reduce your operating expenses. And MCF rewards you as your business grows. With orders containing more than one unit, you can enjoy up to 50% in savings with MCF’s multi-unit discount. Visit our pricing page to learn more.
  • Unbranded packaging - MCF orders are automatically shipped in unbranded packaging* at no additional cost to you.

*Note that MCF’s unbranded packaging feature does not include items that exceed 56 inches for the longest side or are heavier than 49.9 lb.
